Legal information

Privacy policy
Your data, clearly explained.

What data we collect through the forms, what we use it for and how to exercise your rights.

This is an English translation provided for convenience; in case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Data controller

Xavier Catalán, owner of doctordelapaz.org. Contact: info@doctordelapaz.org.

2. What data we process

Only what you send us through the site’s two forms:

Contact form: name, email address, subject and the message you write.
Endorsement form: name, email address, city or diocese, how you would like to help, an optional message, and the endorsement and public-list consent boxes you tick.

3. What we use it for

To reply to your messages.

To record and manage your personal endorsement of the cause for St Vincent Ferrer’s doctorate.

Public list of supporters: only if you expressly tick the corresponding box may we publish your name in a list of supporters. Your email address will never be published. If you do not tick the box, your endorsement will not appear publicly.

4. Legal basis

Your consent, given when you submit the form and, where applicable, when you tick the public-list box (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in dealing with your request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time.

5. How long we keep it

For as long as necessary to deal with your message or while the cause and your endorsement remain active, and in any case until you ask us to delete it or withdraw your consent.

6. Who else receives it

The forms are sent via Web3Forms, which acts as data processor: it receives the form data and forwards it by email to info@doctordelapaz.org.

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties, except where required by law.

7. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to info@doctordelapaz.org. You may also ask at any time for your name to be removed from the public list.

If you believe your rights have not been properly respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

8. Minors

The forms are intended for people aged 14 and over. If you are under that age, please ask your parent or guardian to submit it for you.

9. Cookies

This site does not use its own cookies or any analytics, advertising or tracking tools. The site’s code stores nothing in your browser.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers (which receive your IP address). When you submit a form, your data is transmitted to Web3Forms. The site is hosted on deed.page, which may display a small badge of its own.
